Working at ANZ Bank as Strategy Lead, CyberCrime, Dan leads a team to prevent CyberCrime from impacting ANZ Customers from online fraud and scams.
Every day, Dan and his team investigate complex online fraud cases and threat trends, with the view of understanding the cyber fraud kill chain. This will assist in placing controls to detect potentially compromised customer credentials before online fraud happens.
Dan has a Master of Applied Science, in Information Systems from RMIT University and also a Master by Research in Mobile Malware from Federation University.
Dan also holds some industry certifications in info Sec fields, to name a few: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GREM, GMOB.
As a good doer, Dan enjoys stopping the bad guys from compromising people’s banking credentials and personal information or detecting the compromised session before further damage is made.
Small companies grow you faster – this is my personal opinion tho – small companies are not as shining as the big brands, but you will have the privilege to see the “full picture” and gain hands-on experience. (Sorry big brands, you’re awesome too!).
