Bachelor of Information Technology

The Bachelor of Information Technology will equip students with the essential knowledge and skills that are relevant to any business to develop, implement and manage software products for commercial companies, software development companies, and government. Students will learn to manage multidisciplinary, data-driven Information Technology (IT) solutions, and develop meaningful approaches to continually evolving business applications, web-and-cloud-based systems and environments.

The Bachelor of Information Technology aims to provide the course graduate with generic and broad employability skills as shown by the Course Learning Outcomes, and the Graduate Attributes, as well as specific knowledge and skills that are consistent with this target work role.

Graduates typically can work for commercial and government organisations in diverse industries, such as tourism, finance, health, retail, IT consulting or security providers nationally and internationality.

A Bachelor of Information Technology degree opens up many career opportunities, including Software Engineering, Business Analysis, Help Desk and Project Management roles.
